Easter 2010
Jen and I have been terribly busy since Peter arrived and also since we're in the process of moving back to California. But better now than never. This time both grandparents were here to enjoy the fun. So without further ado, here are the photos from Easter 2010.

New Years 2010
We spent New Years at Jennifer's parents cabin, up by Yosemite. Kaylene particularly enjoyed herself amongst all the nature. Everyday we would go outside for a walk and on one particular walk, a dog kept following us around. We found out his name is "Buddy" and the owner told us that he loves to be part of everyones business, yet Kaylene really loved and even looked forward to having him with us on
Christmas 2009
We had a wonderful Christmas this year with all of our family. Kaylene got her very first bicycle from Santa and was super excited. This was our first year at Sherry's home for Christmas. It was also special because Molly had arrived early and we all got to get our fair share of snuggles with this cute little tot! Enjoy the pictures.
Halloween 2009
This year Kaylene was (as Kaylene puts it) a "Bumble Bee Princess". Her cousin Amanda was nice enough to give her this costume from her last Halloween. Hours before trick or treating, I asked Kaylene "are you ready for your Halloween costume?" and immediately she said "no costume, no costume". However as soon as she saw WHAT a costume really is, she was super super excited and couldn't wait to get
Labor day 2009
Rod and Kathy invited us to their home to celebrate Labor Day. It was really fun because Rod created a nice bonfire in his fire pit in the backyard. We had lots of wonderful food to eat and even got to roast hot dogs over the fire! Kaylene had a blast because she had a little friend to play with. They would run all over the place, throw rocks in the creek over the bridge and play with the hammock and
Easter Hunt
As promised, here is the video from this Easter. As you'll see in the video, Kaylene starts out slow and then really gets the hang of it. Also, I've now shown this video to Kaylene and she loves it and keeps having me repeat it over and over and over!!! Enjoy.
Easter 2009
This Easter was truly Kaylene's first time to enjoy all the fun the Easter Bunny brings. Firstly, the day before Easter, we all colored eggs and Kaylene was very intrigued with the idea of coloring and dying eggs. One particular egg she dropped into the dye about 6-8 inches up and it made a big splash, she was very surprised and we quickly cleaned up the mess (this is the reason we had her just in
My Valentine Girls
Our Valentines day was simple yet fun. I was with my girls and that is all that matters. As mentioned earlier, we went to build a bear workshop for Kaylene. Later on we went to Azteca mexican restaurant for some yummy din-din! I got a chance to take a few pictures before we left, take a look.
Christmas 2008
As usual Christmas was chaotic, yet wonderful (how that makes sense, I don't know). We got a ton of gifts, especially Kaylene. It's a good thing we packed lightly and hadn't reached our max number of items for the flight back. I guess the biggest highlights were, Tony got Nancy a under water scubba scooter (not sure what there called) and she was shocked! Also, Nancy got Sherry's kids special backstage
Easter Gifts from Auntie Sherry
My Sister Sherry does a pretty good job of making sure Kaylene is spoiled with lots of fun toys, clothes and all kinds of stuff. Even Jen was having fun when she saw the toy rotary phone on wheels. Her exact words "I loved these when I was a kid" and now is one of Kaylene's favorites too. She loves holding the string and dragging it all over the house. She also got us this totally cool duffle bag with
Words from Jen on Valentines Day
Below are the words Jen wrote to me in my Valentines card. I felt they were some of the kindest words Jen has ever said to me that I felt like sharing:"This is a special day, it is Valentine’s Day and that means it gives us an opportunity to tell each other how much we love each other. It just seems that words are not enough to express the love I have for you. This is not your first Valentine’s
Christmas 2007
Christmas this year was quite enjoyable, mainly just because I got to be with family. We got to visit with both sides of the family. Besides enjoying all the Christmas lights as talked about in my previous post, here are a couple highlights this year. Since we all stayed local this year, it was pretty easy to see everyone. Tony tricked just about everyone into thinking that he had to work on Christmas
Christmas Lights 2007
I was glad that this year we spent some time looking at lights and visiting fun Christmas themed places. It brought back memories of Christmas in the Park in San Jose. One the streets we visited had was a court of houses and every single house was decorated to the extreme, but what really made this court special was a 10 foot long train that rode upon tracks above (YES above) each and every houses
Noah Christmas Party 2007
We all had a wonderful time this year at the Noah Christmas party. The white elephant game was really fun. If you not familiar with the white elephant game here's a simple run down. Everyone starts by choosing a number, then everyone chooses a gift in the order of their number. When it's your turn you can choose a gift OR steal a gift someone has already chosen. A gift can only be stolen twice, at

We missed Thanksgiving last year because Kaylene had just arrived via FedEx from the heavens up above, but this year we were blessed enough to enjoy it with both of our families. Thanksgiving with my family was pretty typical of fun, happy times mixed with hecticness. We were also fortunate enough to have my Aunt Pat and Uncle Marty with us and as always it was good to have my Grandma and Grandpa there.
Gomez's Halloween
Here are some pictures from the Gomez's family Halloween adventure. There's lot of cute one and it looks like they had tons of fun. Enjoy!
Kaylene's First Halloween
This Halloween was Kaylene's first. Jen found a very cute outfit of a kitty kat! The night before we went to the annual Halloween bash at the church where all the kids were dressed up and got to "trunk" or treat. Yes I said trunk, it's where all the kids at the church get to go from each car, truck or SUV trunks and get treats. At the same time was the Chili cook-off. I got to try several kinds of
4th of July 2007
This was Kaylene's first 4th of July, and boy was it fun! We had the luxury of having Mom and Dad Wharff up for the holidays as well and they bought a lot of fireworks to set the neighborhood ablaze. Kaylene was not sure what to think about the whole thing. We set of the first firework, and she watched and listened to it, and then cried. After that first one, she loved the rest! She even got so comfortable
Jen's first Mother's Day
I wanted to do something special for Jen this Mother's Day since of-course this is her very first "official" one. Keeping in mind that the moolah situation hasn't been the greatest lately, I tried to use what's left in my brain and mainly in my heart to give her a Mother's Day that would be a memorable one. So instead of getting her a card, I wrote her a letter telling her how important she is to me

Christmas 2006
Jen and I were fortunate enough to spend Christmas 2006 with our families, mainly because we needed to attend the Noah Christmas Party in San Jose. After the company party, we went to Nancy's house for family portraits (read the funny and wacky blog about it here). We left Nancy's house on Christmas Eve and arrived to the cabin at 1:30 pm. Maminou and Papa (Jen's parents) were happy to see us, but
Noah Christmas Party 2006
This year's company Christmas party was awesome (they're always awesome). This year it was in San Jose at the Silver Creek Country Club. The party kicked off with unlimited drinks and appetizers. All the food was good throughout the evening, however I must say that the appetizers were the best, coconut crusted shrimp and mini lamb chops! This was the first year that EVERY Noah employee was able to
Mother's Day Surprise
What's the best Mother's Day present you can give your Mom? How about the news of a little one on the way! After almost 4 years of trying, Jennifer and I are finally expecting. Hooray! Check out the Video to see their reactions.
