Family Pics
One of Kaylene's friends decided to have a full blown formal "tea party" (all herbal teas) with fancy dress and all. So I decided to take some family pics beforehand. Which is your favorite?

Just Happy
Not much happening in these photos, just hanging out and enjoying some time with Mama and Dada. She also got a bubble machine from her Maminou and Papa (Jen's parents) and loves to play with the bubbles.
My Valentine Girls
Our Valentines day was simple yet fun. I was with my girls and that is all that matters. As mentioned earlier, we went to build a bear workshop for Kaylene. Later on we went to Azteca mexican restaurant for some yummy din-din! I got a chance to take a few pictures before we left, take a look.
Unexpected Snowy Fun
To say the least, we have been deluged with unexpected snow here in Vancouver. Jen, Kaylene and I had originally scheduled to fly out to the bay area for the holidays, but our flight was cancelled. We're now waiting to try and get another flight before Christmas day, wish us luck. In the meantime Jen, Kaylene and I have had a wonderful time playing in the snow. Kaylene is just soooo excited and mesmerized

Wow.... where do I begin. Thanksgiving this year was full of excitement to say the least! We started our Thanksgiving by visiting our friends the Tollers in Tracy, CA. They were very happy to see us and enjoyed a wonderful pizza dinner with Marietta, John and family. Kaylene loved playing with their kids. A couple days later we spent Thanksgiving day at Sherry's house and let me just tell you... the
A Snowy Day in April
I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked outside and practically saw a blizzard outside. It was snowing so hard that I couldn't see the houses down the street. It only last maybe 30 minutes and then about an hour later, the sun came out and it was almost warm, so much so that all the streets started to get all steamy. Talk about global warming or can you say "the last days" 10 times really quick? It
Jen is a Wharff.net Blogger. Hooray!
After this whole "Twitter" incident, Jen was actually posting tweets, however she agreed with me that it was somewhat a waste of time and expressed interest in actually posting blog entries. So I've created an account for her to post blog entries to Wharff.net. This is "technically" her first post, but posted by me (Paul). You should now be able to see who the "Author" of the post is. Look to the future
Sick Kaylene
Kaylene very suddenly came down with a pretty bad cold with lots of congestion and coughing. We don't think she got what Jen and I had since neither of us ever had a temperature (hopefully she didn't get it from the Carousel ride!) and Kaylene's temp was 102! She's steadily getting better, but I must say that one of the benefits of her being sick is she really likes to cuddle!
Kaylene's First Carousel Ride
Today we took Kaylene to the mall for her very first Carousel ride. How did she like it? Well from what I've heard... her reaction was quite typical: scared! She was doing fine until the ride actually started to move and then she started to cry something fierce, but fortunately for her it was over pretty quickly. Oh well, at least we got pictures and video to document the event!
Words from Jen on Valentines Day
Below are the words Jen wrote to me in my Valentines card. I felt they were some of the kindest words Jen has ever said to me that I felt like sharing:"This is a special day, it is Valentine’s Day and that means it gives us an opportunity to tell each other how much we love each other. It just seems that words are not enough to express the love I have for you. This is not your first Valentine’s
Jen's Surgery to Remove Gallbladder
Jen had her gallbladder removed today. We were one of the first for surgery at 5:30 AM. Both of us were pretty tired, but especially Jen since for the last several nights all she could think about was this day. The surgery went perfectly and only took about an hour, with the prep and recovery taking 3 times longer. Since it was a pretty simple surgery, they let her go home 3 hours later. Jen's parents
Kaylene's First Halloween
This Halloween was Kaylene's first. Jen found a very cute outfit of a kitty kat! The night before we went to the annual Halloween bash at the church where all the kids were dressed up and got to "trunk" or treat. Yes I said trunk, it's where all the kids at the church get to go from each car, truck or SUV trunks and get treats. At the same time was the Chili cook-off. I got to try several kinds of
Happy Birthday to Us
Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Paul & Jen, Happy Birthday to you! 31 years.
Jen's first Mother's Day
I wanted to do something special for Jen this Mother's Day since of-course this is her very first "official" one. Keeping in mind that the moolah situation hasn't been the greatest lately, I tried to use what's left in my brain and mainly in my heart to give her a Mother's Day that would be a memorable one. So instead of getting her a card, I wrote her a letter telling her how important she is to me
One Year...
Today is Cinco de Mayo and that means today marks the 1 year anniversary since Jen and I found out we were expecting! It seems like yesterday when Jen pulled me out of my Friday meeting to tell me the good news. What a ride it has been and continues to be, however it has been a wonderful ride and we have been blessed in many ways.By the way, check out these cool T-Shirts that my buddy Vince bought
To the Farmers Market we go!
Jen took Kaylene to the Farmers Market with Tandy for the first time. Jen wanted to make sure she was cute enough for such an outing. She dressed her in a new outfit, so I took some pictures before their grand departure. Check it out!
Perfect Tuesday
Today is Tuesday and it was perfect! Why? Because the whole day just seam to go ... well ... perfectly. My day at work was perfect, I was able to get lot's of work done and one of our weekly meetings was cancelled (not that I don't like those meetings or anything =) ). I also found out that I am getting a refund on my taxes and that's always nice, thanks Kaylene for being born; although we would keep
How I found out I was Pregnant
Cinco de Mayo! What a memorable day this would turn out to be. I had absolutely no idea that I was going to have some of the best and biggest news of my life delivered to me today. To accurately tell this story, I need to go back two or so weeks. I was standing in the family room, asking Paul a question, when he mentioned to me that my body had started to look "different" lately. I thought he was just
