Trip to Washington DC
A couple weeks ago my sister Nancy called me and gave me a surprise for my birthday, a trip to Washington DC with her. I was blown away (to put it lightly) for such an amazing gift! We had 3 days to see as many sights as possible and probably saw 1 weeks worth in that time. While I was doing my routine work out of the San Jose office, over the weekend Jen, Kaylene and I had the opportunity to enjoy celebrating Nancy and Heather's birthday. I must say I was surprised. Why? For 2 reasons. Firstly, Nancy called me around 9:00 pm and told me they were just passing Mt. Shasta in California. I was very disappointed because that would mean they wouldn't arrive for another 5 hours.
